https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events): when an interviewer in Exam Portal explicitly clicks "Schedule Interview" for a candidate, FFTech SaaS creates a single calendar event on the interviewer's Google Calendar (with the candidate added as an invitee and a Google Meet link attached). We do not read, list, or modify any other events on the interviewer's calendar. We do not access any other user's calendar. The scope is used only at the moment of the explicit "Schedule Interview" action.

- Exam integrity signals (tab switches, copy/paste events) during assessments
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and manage your account

4. Google API Services Usage Disclosure (Limited Use)
FFTech SaaS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, FFTech SaaS:
- Requests only the minimum Google scopes required for each feature (basic profile for authentication; Calendar events for interview scheduling only).
- Uses Google Calendar access solely to create a single calendar event when the interviewer explicitly clicks "Schedule Interview". We do not read, list, or modify any other events.
- Stores only the Google-returned event ID for created interview events (so interviewers can later cancel them through our app). We do not store the contents of any other calendar event.
- Does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the user-facing feature (e.g., the candidate's email address is sent to Google's own Calendar API as the invitee).
- Does not use Google user data for advertising or for serving ads, including retargeted, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
- Does not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have obtained the user's affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security, to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and used for internal operations in line with the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in MongoDB databases with encryption at rest. Authentication tokens are stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:
- With interviewers who created exams you participated in (exam results and integrity data)
- With candidates when an interviewer schedules an interview (interviewer name, meeting link)
- With service providers (Google for authentication and calendar, MongoDB Atlas for data storage)
- As required by law or to protect our rights
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Exam attempt data is retained for the duration of the hiring process. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Revoke Google permissions at any time via your Google Account settings
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how our services are used. No advertising cookies are used.
